Write and publish a mobile post

Choose channels, write each version, attach images, and save or schedule from your phone.

The mobile apps are preparing for release. This guide describes the current composer for app users with access before launch.

Before you start

Check Settings → Channels for the account you want to publish from. Scheduling and AI features depend on your plan and available credits.

Open New post

Tap New post in the tab bar. Choose the publishing accounts in the account controls.

Write the content

Enter your text. With several channels selected, you can start with shared text and use Per channel to create a different version for each platform. Watch the character counter for the version you are editing.

For Reddit, add a title and select the subreddit. Check the community's posting rules before publishing.

Attach images

Use the attachment control and grant photo access when asked. Wait for the images to finish uploading. The available attachment count depends on the selected channels.

Choose an action

Use the post action menu to choose Save Draft, Schedule Manually, or the immediate publishing or queue action. Check the selected time and accounts before confirming.

Check the result

Open Content and select the matching status. A saved draft remains unpublished; a scheduled post waits until its time; a post in Approval waits for a reviewer.

Continue a draft

Open Content → Drafts, choose the draft's edit action, and make your changes. Use Ask Andy to bring it into a writing conversation. See Write with Andy.

If one channel fails

Read the error to identify the failed channel. Other selected channels may already have succeeded. Check Content before retrying so you do not republish a successful version.
