How to Connect Content Sources
Connect YouTube, Substack, or Medium so Andy can use your latest content when it writes your posts
YouTube, Substack, and Medium each let you connect content you already publish elsewhere so Andy can draw on it. None of them need OAuth -- you just paste a channel URL, newsletter URL, or username.
Connecting a source here makes it available. New content from it is only pulled in when you also turn that source on under Content sources in Andy's Posting Routine -- Andy uses your most recent videos, articles, or stories as background material when it writes your scheduled posts, rather than turning each new item into a post of its own.
YouTube requires a Premium plan.
Open the Integrations settings
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and select YouTube.
Enter your channel
Click Connect and enter your YouTube channel ID or channel URL (for example, youtube.com/@yourname).
Verify the connection
YouTube now appears as connected. Recent videos from your channel appear under Recent Videos on the integration page.
Turn it on in Andy's Routine
Go to Andy's Posting Routine and enable YouTube under Content sources so Andy starts using it.
Substack requires a Pro plan or above.
Open the Integrations settings
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and select Substack.
Enter your newsletter URL
Click Connect and enter your Substack URL (either yourname.substack.com or substack.com/@yourname -- both formats are accepted). You can add more than one newsletter.
Verify the connection
Substack now appears as connected. Recent posts from your newsletter appear under Recent Articles on the integration page.
Turn it on in Andy's Routine
Go to Andy's Posting Routine and enable Substack under Content sources so Andy starts using it.
Medium requires a Pro plan or above.
Open the Integrations settings
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and select Medium.
Enter your username
Click Connect and enter your Medium username (for example, @johndoe). You can add more than one profile.
Verify the connection
Medium now appears as connected. Recent stories from your profile appear under Recent Stories on the integration page.
Turn it on in Andy's Routine
Go to Andy's Posting Routine and enable Medium under Content sources so Andy starts using it.
