MCP tool reference
Find the tools for drafting, publishing, approvals, analytics, articles, carousels, and media.
Use this reference to tell your AI client which Reepl action you need. The client receives each tool's full input schema when it connects, including optional fields, validation, and response details.
Availability and permissions
Quick Connect (https://connect.reepl.io/mcp) includes the core tools below. Advanced (https://mcp.reepl.io/mcp) also includes images, uploads, the media library, and previews. Both use OAuth. See Connect your client.
- Use is included with the connection. It includes drafting, editing, deletion of drafts, and AI generation; it can change saved data or spend credits.
- Act needs Act on your social accounts consent. It covers publishing, scheduling, replies, and approval actions. Workspace roles and channel access still apply.
- Tools shown in your client depend on the connection and consent. Manage account consent does not imply that every account setting has an available tool.
This catalog was checked against the implementation on October 11, 2026. Check the schema your client receives for current optional arguments. Tool names and field names are case-sensitive; REST API fields may differ.

Articles
MCP supports article editing and publishing. The public REST API currently provides article reads. X article eligibility and connected blog destinations still apply.

Check a result before continuing
A saved draft, scheduled post, approval request, processing job, and published post represent different outcomes. Read the returned status and resource ID before the next action. When a tool returns a content revision, keep it for edits so you can detect a teammate's changes.
For analytics, unavailable metrics are not evidence of zero activity. Some company-page results are cached, and older X impressions may be unavailable. For Reddit, check community rules and flair before publishing.
