Context
The company and personal context Reepl's AI reads before it writes anything, across comments, messages, ideas, carousels and Andy.
Context is what Reepl knows about you and your company before it writes a word. A Writing Style teaches it how you write; Context tells it what is true: who you are, who you sell to, and what your brand looks like.
Open Settings → Context. It has four tabs.
Workspace
Shared company context, used to keep every generation on brand for everyone on the team. One workspace, one set of answers.
This is the tab to fill in first on a team account, because it applies to everybody's output.
Personal
Your own context, used to write as you across comments, messages, ideas and Andy:
- Full name and Role
- Bio: a short professional bio in your own words
- What you do: for example, "I help B2B founders grow their LinkedIn audience through content and community"
- Who you're writing for: your personal audience
- Goals, Topics and Areas of expertise: added one at a time, pressing Enter after each
On a team workspace, Workspace context is shared and Personal context is yours alone, so two people on the same account still sound like themselves.
Workspace owners and admins can also edit a teammate's Personal context. Use Choose whose settings to edit above the form to switch to a teammate; a banner confirms whose context you are editing until you switch back to your own.
ICP
Your Ideal Customer Profile: the audience you are trying to reach. Describe them in plain language and Reepl builds a structured profile covering job titles, industries, locations, company sizes, pain points, goals and keywords.
You can keep several. See Audience Profiles for the detail.
Brand
The workspace's visual identity, used by the carousel generator and other visual output. There is exactly one Brand per workspace, and it is owned here rather than in the carousel editor.
Carousel style presets are a different thing. You can have many presets and they live in the carousel editor; the workspace Brand is single, lives here, and cannot be deleted from inside a carousel.
Why it is worth filling in
Context is the cheapest quality improvement available. A draft written with no context has to guess your role, audience and goals, and it guesses blandly. Ten minutes here removes a round of editing from every draft afterwards.
